I had a pleasant stay at the Aston Samarinda, enjoying the friendly staff and the excellent breakfast spread, which made each morning enjoyable. However, the smoking areas mixed with the non-smoking zones were a bit of a letdown, and the rooms could use some modern updates. Overall, it was a good experience, but there are areas that could definitely be improved.
